Default Billboards/adult book stores?

My husband and I like Houston and have discussed moving there from MN. The one thing I do not like is all the "girlie" billboards and adult bookstores everywhere. We have not been to S.A., I was wondering if it is the same here? Thank you!

There are a couple, but they're few and far between. Houston has gotten really bad in that aspect.

You'll find the occasional strip club billboard here and there, as well as billboards advertising plastic surgery (both show the same amount of skin), but the city isn't overrun with them. I don't think I've ever seen a billboard for Adult Megaplex or any other adult-oriented bookstores.

There is a heavy concentration of those types of businesses in the NE corner of the city for some reason. Otherwise, they're fairly scarce.

The adult bookstores don't need billboards, their lettering is HUGE. And they're all over the rock airwaves.

You'll probably drive by 3 gentleman's clubs before you see another billboard. There's a prominent one right off of hwy 90 right by 37 S - I don't think it's changed in 2 years.

This surprised the hell outta me when I went home for a visit and heard the promo on the radio! Of course, the lettering on the side of the building is GINORMOUS, as well. The building is its own billboard. *lol*
