Default Flooding in San Antonio/Schertz areas

I currently live in Northern Nevada and am looking into moving my family to the San Antonio area. We don't get a lot of rain or flooding here, but I was curious about the frequency and severity of any flooding in this area. Thanks in advance.

Hi
Some areas flood a lot. Some don't. I would be weary of low water crossings and areas close to rivers and creeks. You can check out floodsmart.gov to see which areas are more likely to flood. I don't know how accurate it is.
Also, once you narrow down the area where you want to live, you can ask residents in that area about flooding. Insurance companies and real estate agents can also tell you areas that are in the flood plain
Good luck in your move
