Clinton was incredible: In the very short time we spoke, he was intense, engaged and solely focused on the conversation. Deep Forest - you mentioned Lee Marvin. In my opinion I think he was one of the greatest actors of all times. His other movies were good but his dual parts in Cat Ballou were over the top. I don't think Hollywood gave him the respect he deserved because he drank a little too much and was a rebel.

It was a great honor. I have mingled with politicians from both sides of the aisle while living in DC, and yet meeting Stephen Hawking eclipsed any of the other famous people I have met. It took a minute to get used to the long delays in conversation (due to his computer "voice"), but it got easier as time went on. The entire conversation lasted about an hour, and then he had to go back to his hotel to prepare for a speaking engagement at the Kennedy Center.

In the movies he looks kinda tall but I was shocked that he only stood about 5'6" and he had white hair. I was so awed that all I could say to him was "you make some real kick-ass movies". A short while after that I believe he died of a heart attack. ..

I thought he was a bigger person until I read different a number of years ago. I also read he liked to party day and night and enjoyed every minute of his life. The only thing that Hollywood has put out in the last 20 or so years are a bunch of little pimps and pimpettes, with not much acting talent in my book.
