Not jealous and envious in reference to Clinton but in regards to your lifestyle. What is your present profession? Sounds like you have alot of fun!

I'm in advertising for a living, but have some friends who have some very interesting connections in life.

Clinton was incredible: In the very short time we spoke, he was intense, engaged and solely focused on the conversation. I really felt like I was the only other person in the aircraft (it was a private 757 BBJ). We briefly discussed the environment, the last 7 years of economic nightmare and his wife's outlook on her campaign. All very general, but he was most gracious.

The one thing I can never forget when visiting with these people is that it's not MY life, but simply temporary circumstance. Sure, it's nice to fly around in a private jet or tour Italy with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but it's nothing akin to reality... or, at least, my reality

He came up to her booth and said (the name of a high up guy at Sea World) was on the phone and he wanted to talk to her. She didn't recognize him and just said "ok.." and took the phone. The guy told her to let him and the five cars behind him in for free. Later on everyone told her who he was..

Does Clinton still keep the swatch of "THE BLUE DRESS" in the locket around his neck?

I'm in absolute love with this thread.

You all have great lives. I hope to have achieved half of what you have all done.

That had to be a real honor...I get excited just reading that I "know" someone that got to meet him!

Deep Forest - you mentioned Lee Marvin. In my opinion I think he was one of the greatest actors of all times. His other movies were good but his dual parts in Cat Ballou were over the top. I don't think Hollywood gave him the respect he deserved because he drank a little too much and was a rebel.

It was a great honor. I have mingled with politicians from both sides of the aisle while living in DC, and yet meeting Stephen Hawking eclipsed any of the other famous people I have met. It took a minute to get used to the long delays in conversation (due to his computer "voice"), but it got easier as time went on. The entire conversation lasted about an hour, and then he had to go back to his hotel to prepare for a speaking engagement at the Kennedy Center.

In the movies he looks kinda tall but I was shocked that he only stood about 5'6" and he had white hair. I was so awed that all I could say to him was "you make some real kick-ass movies". A short while after that I believe he died of a heart attack. ..

I thought he was a bigger person until I read different a number of years ago. I also read he liked to party day and night and enjoyed every minute of his life. The only thing that Hollywood has put out in the last 20 or so years are a bunch of little pimps and pimpettes, with not much acting talent in my book.
