There is a pretty decent line of rain/storms coming in from Mexico. It looks promising...

Don't get too excited.. they should weaken in intensity as the move east ... also it looks like a gap the size of Bexar County is heading to... Bexar County.

Yep. The magical forcefield around San Antonio. Every time you watch the radar, the storm simply splits in two as it enters Bexar County. It drives me nuts!

Here the line comes! Too bad I'll be asleep by the time it gets here.
Well, if it gets here.

This is so sad.. but it made me LMAO.... even the computer models are picking up on the "SA Gap" for this afternoon/evening's storms.

Well, our resident weather expert was right; the closer the rain got, the more it weakened, until it all went away. Business as usual...

Right now (9:15 AM Saturday): Front is located near Junction... much further south than anticipated. However I expect that the front will decelerate as it moves southward. Showers and thunderstorms should increase in coverage and intensity with the help of daytime heating. The worst storms should contain gusty winds and small hail, and of course... heavy rains.
FORECAST
TODAY: Thunderstorms... High 86
TONIGHT: Couple of lingering showers, otherwise clearing skies.. low 60
TOMORROW: Partly Cloudy... High 79
TOMORROW NIGHT: Clear... low 57
This will be my last update for the weekend as I'm heading out the door now to camp at Garner. Enjoy the storms
