So Anthony, where could I get the total rain fall for SA since Jan 2006? After I take out the rainy days I was outta town, I figure I've only seen about 10" in the three years I was here!
Seriously, gonna miss your updates. Shoot, my new hometown (in GA) ain't even a CD subforum! I promise not to post pics of the rain and cooler temps, though! I may lurk, but I won't brag!

History : Weather Underground
Check the last day of 2006, 2007, 2008, and the current day for 2009.
2006 = 21.34 inches
2007 = 47.25 inches
2008 = 13.76 inches
2009 year to date =7.72 inches
For a grand total of 90.07 inches over the three and a half years. That is a little better than 7.5 feet of rain.
With the site above if you really want to you can look up all the days you were gone and subtract those off....

We better get some rain soon. The well guy ( JR) is here at my house now. We had to pull ALL the pipes ( $110.00 an hour!) to find the broken wire and only the last 3 pieces were in water. Thats scary.

I could go for some rain... those in my neighborhood may find me later this evening sitting in the yard with the garden hose.

Well, in October of 2009 expect 14 inches of rain. It will come off the Pacific across Mexico and sit on top of San Antonio, just like October 17, 1998. I remember that rain well. It was a good thing that the big pipe was under San Antonio and working. Prediction ended!!

I seem to remember getting about 18 inches over a few days at my house. It was insane.

Bring it on! I have a truck and major flooding is the only thing that is going to get the aquifer back where it belongs.

Just figure out a way to protect the people on the Guadalupe River, from New Braunfels, Lake McQueeney, Lake Placid and Seguin near Starke Park.
