Yeah..we got a decent amount along with a nice lightning show and some thunder.

Here are a few random shots from last night. I never realized how hard it is to capture lightning in a photo. It took about 400 pictures just to get these few.

That one was taken with a flash. Kinda neat how it turned out.

We're just off of FM 78 in Converse. The pictures were taken looking directly toward downtown.

We got .8 inches over here in the BCB area. A tiny bit of hail. Of course when I am prepared and my garden is protected we get almost no hail. When I'm at work is when we will get the golf ball sized hail.

Franklin, next time you have the opportunity to take lightning pics at night. Put your camera on a tripod and and open the shutter and leave it open until you get 3 or 4 lightning flashes. It makes for a really cool effect.

Wow great pics! I have infinite respect for anyone who can catch a lightning strike with only 400 shots! Very awesome

As for tonight... look for a repeat of last night... same threats.
