Sorry I didn't post earlier... I was busy being a delegate at the Senatorial Convention.... what a mess!

We should see a few showers tomorrow and again on Monday... but hey... at least it keeps the plants green and helps the aquifer.

I'm happy to see the rain, but I just purchased a 4-pack of Sea World season tickets online and now I am going to have to deal with a very persistent 11 year old all day tomorrow. I might as well just get the umbrellas out now, because going and getting a little wet and possibly struck by lightning is a more bearable choice than staying home and hearing, "Now, how bout now? Still raining? Does it look like it might stop? What about now? Looks like sun to me! Awww, now? Do you think it will stop? Why did it have to rain? Can we just go over there and wait till it stops? What if it never stops? If it stops by 2, can we still go? How about 3? Is it still raining? It looks like it stopped. I think it stopped! Aww, it didn't stop, but it looks like it will, so can we just go anyway? We're going to get wet anyway, Mom! It's SEA world and the sea is wet. Can we go now? How bout now?"

Kids....

They make you wanna

Well, by the time we got rollin' this morning, it was raining and my son was hugely disappointed. He grudgingly agreed to go to the mall instead (I know--no comparison) but while there it was decided that since the new Indiana Jones movie is coming out and my youngest is totally in the dark re Indy, we bought the 3-pack and got all caught up today! He's ready for the new flick now.

Sea World next weekend, hopefully. If it rains again, though, that's good, too. We bought passes that are good for 2 seasons, so at some point we will get to see Shamu.

Wow thats crazy! It managed to stay fairly dry in this part of town. We did get a light shower move through at around noonish that only got the ground wet. But that only lasted a few minutes and I only knew about it after it passed.

My hair is my barometer (naturally curly) and good grief, it was humid today! We sat outside on the patio for a few hours and my hair is all a-fluff.
