those are some powerful storms west of san angelo...looks like they might come down here

Yeah indeed they are. Tornado Warning is in effect for Tom Green County and the strongest rotation looks as if it's going to approach the San Angelo radar

TONIGHT INTO EARLY THURSDAY MORNING THEN EXIT TO THE EAST OF SOUTH
CENTRAL TEXAS BY MID MORNING. FOR THE TAF SITES, HAVE GONE WITH
TEMPO FROM 09Z TO 13Z AT KAUS, KSAT, AND KSSF, HOWEVER DUE LOWER
CONFIDENCE WHETHER LINE WILL BUILD SOUTH IN TIME WILL ONLY GO WITH
VCTS AT KDRT THROUGH 08Z. STRONG DOWNDRAFT WINDS, LARGE HAIL, AND
ISOLATED TORNADOES ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS. MVFR CIGS WITH
LOCALLY IFR CIGS WILL PREVAIL AHEAD OF THE LINE OF STORMS, THEN

Basically, the NWS is just as clueless as we are as to what's going to happen with this line. I haven't seen it build much further south in the past hour or so...
