I stopped procrastinating and put in drip irrigation in my garden this year. It looks like it will come in handy.

Here in town we'll be in the lower 40s the next couple of nights.  Take an extra blanket with ya to bed!
This is more a result of having very low humidity than a cold snap. Tomorrow night will also be identical to tonight and then we'll finally warm back up to where we should be in April. |

Rain chances are still a stretch, unfortunately. We'll be dry most of the week with the exception of Friday where a small disturbance should push through the area. That will generate a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm in our area (we had higher chances last week).
However, next week if things work well (and realize how reliable forecasts beyond 7 days are--they're not!), we should have a pattern change. That is, the computer models are picking up into a nice moisture feed into our region from the Pacific along with an upper level low tracking over us -- hopefully bringing significant rains.
Until then, embrace the beautiful temperatures... highs in the 70s/80s with lows in the 40s/50s -- this could very well be the last gasp of winter/spring.

Today was perfect Sea World weather! We finally redeemed our passes that I bought online--awesome value for 2 seasons at only $75 a piece--and we had a nice, albeit abbreviated visit today. There was a nice crowd and the breezes were amazing!
