Default wCat's absence

Thought I'd tell everybody that wCat has been "absent" lately cause she's having computer problems. It's waaaaaaaaay too complicated for me to understand, but she misses everybody! She's working on tryin' to get back soon, tho......

post a hint of the problem and maybe it isn't all that complicated.. or at least not for some of us.

and I think all wireless carriers do suck and that sucks for us consumers. I'm actually hoping that Google buys sprint and fires every one of the employees. I suppose that's not a nice thing to say, but so far every single employee I've come in contract with from that company has made it seem like they're doing me a favor. Even the alleged supervisors on the phone are rude and have actually hung up on me because I wasn't satisfied with their answer.. which reminds me, somehow they have this secret computer network that has things, but doesn't tell you. I bought a new phone a few months ago and didn't like it so I returned it, but it seems there's this secret rule that says if you return something (within the 30 day trial period) your account starts back to zero. There is absolutely nothing in their contract or any of their pages that states this and of the 30 or so people I talked to not a one could tell me where this rule was (except on their screen). Needless to say I was beyond PO'd

anyhow, rant pt. 2 is over now I told you I hate sprint..

Default Trusted Tax Person

Hey, everyone.....

Come early 2008, I am going to need a REALLY trustworthy, highly knowledgable tax person, AND inexpensive if possible!!!

I was an independent contractor, which is a first for me.... I had to buy a lot of equipment and supplies, AND my income was just plain ridiculously LOW....
As an independent, however, they do NOT withold any taxes; they really just pay invoices that you submit....

I once looked into the independent contracting thing and then ran away fast

It can be good if you find the right job, but the ones I found weren't right at all.

Can Turbotax handle that? I've used it the past few years and it helps get my creative juices flowing... seems those really help when it comes tax time, which is seriously going to suck this year.. first full year of being 100% civilian and paying taxes on all my pay that doesn't come from the VA. Seems I'm suddenly almost rich according to how much I make, too bad it's not true..

One might be on my plate for dinner tomorrow night, complete with salad and baked potato.
