I love the grandparent thing. The shock has finally wore off and we always are asking them to bring her over. It's so nice to hold a baby for a little while, spoil her, and hand her over when she throws up, fusses, or fills up the diaper. The best part is she leaves and we go to sleep without anyone waking us up in the middle of the night, except last night when one of the baby dogs felt compelled to randomly bark throughout the night. We had broke her of that habit, but for some reason she had a relapse last night. She really needs to learn that nobody cares if she is awake and bored...
so yeah, kids and grandkids are great when they visit every now and then.

no, I've been eating that for years. I love strong tastes. There's no way you would ever catch me eating English food for a living.. spicey, hot, sour, smokey, almost anything that has a strong taste as long as it's not salty. I can't stand salty food except salt and vinegar potato chips.

Just kidding.....I'm sure it's good. I hate salty food, too--love the spicy, though.

Today, we're spending the afternoon experimenting with different things baked into wonton wrappers in muffin cups.

- Pork with BBQ sauce
- Sausage with garlic mashed potatoes
- Chicken with cream cheese and jalapenos
- Butterscotch pudding with crumbled gingerbread cookies

It's a great way to turn leftovers into appetizers and desserts.

We'll also be having some HEB deli-made buffalo/BBQ chicken strips in HEB bakery tortillas and some of the HEB deli's penne and mozzarella pasta salad.

Wow, I could have written this sentence. You and I must have been born with the same taste buds. We've already determined that we both like rhubarb pie.

So, what's your take on kimchi and hot and sour soup?

mmmh, all of those sound good, especially the butterscotch pudding.
I think I have all of the DD's pizza out of me finally because I'm starting to get real hungry.
and my daughter brought me these special edition Michelob's from the SeaWorld warehouse. They stopped giving them away for the employees, but had a few left in the warehouse. The current one is called Michelob Irish Red all malt ale. It was in the freezer, so it is very cold and tastes pretty good. It's described as an Irish style red ale that blends kilned two-row and toasted caramel malts.
It's probably not for anyone that can't handle a bleu cheeseburger with green olives because it definitely has taste..
