Did it rain here? I'm coming off of 5 straight days of rain......not the whole time I was in CA, but much of it. It was great! I'll have to post my "double rainbow" pic later......I got a picture of the house it ended at, but I figured in this economy they weren't gonna share that pot o' gold.

It was great! Thanks for asking..........I didn't want to come home, but the bills await. I'm sportin' a new, red Trader Joe's bag, though! LOL I love that place. I had Trader Jose's salsa on my eggs this morning, TJ's half and half in my coffee, TJ's romaine hearts in my salad last night.....yeah, my mom is a TJ's shoppa!

The airport picked up 0.13", areas north of town... especially in North Texas and the Panhandle recieved much more.

I am highly skeptical regarding our rain chances with the next system. The majority of the moisture should stay to our north and east. Our odds for precipitation in town should remain at 20%, with lower chances further south and west.

However, I am concerned about the threat for wildfires on Wednesday. The National Weather Service already issued a Fire Weather Watch, which should be upgraded to a Red Flag Warning by tomorrow evening. Behind the system, we will see strong West/Northwesterly winds of 20 to 30 mph, with gusts to 40 or maybe even 50 mph in some cases and extremely low relative humidity values ranging from 5 to 15% Wednesday afternoon.

Hopefully no fires are generated on Wednesday. If they do, it will pose serious problems in a hurry.

You can have my Cayucos, CA baseball cap, but it's a little feminine......it's my favorite color green and has a hibiscus flower embroidered on the front. But you are welcome to it. If you get beat up wearing it, call me. I'll bring my rumble chain and administer a beat down.
