I've been to the one on Thousand Oaks twice and the one on Sonterra Parkway once. I can't decide whether it's better than Le Peep, which is practically the same thing, but it's good breakfast food.

Did anyone get a peek at the strawberries at HEB today? I had to bust out the Bisquik! The shortcake was screaming in delight at the sugary goodness that was drizzled all over it. Yowza it was gooooooooooood!

good to see someone else that eats biscuits with their strawberries. Do you also put a little butter on it and pour on some milk?

No, but thanks for the fatty tip! LOL like it's not bad enough for you. Sounds good, though.

Oh, and it wasn't "biscuits" per se, I used the shortcake recipe on the box. But they were warm and delicious. Now that I think about it, butter would have made a great topping. Not so sure about the milk.

trust me, it's good. Most people are apprehensive of the butter/margarine and milk part, but so far all have agreed that it adds to the flavor. I take a buttermilk biscuit, cut it in half, put a little margarine on each half, place sliced strawberries and their own juices (never use that syrup stuff) over the two halves, pour a little milk (half and half is ever better) over them to add to the strawberry juice and then top it off with hwipped cream (Family Guy fans will get that one). It helps if the biscuits are a little warm.

Sounds hweird! I love that episode.......hell, who am I kidding? I love EVERY episode of that show.

I don't use the syrupy strawberries, but I do let them sit in a bit of sugar before I use them. Straight strawberries are not for wussies. And then I add the Cool Hwip for more sweetness.

RD.......how many days till Jackson Hole? I have about 3 weeks till I go to Chicago, and I'm hoping it warms up a little before I get there. It's a business trip, though, and I won't get a lot of free time to go exploring. They like to plan every minute for you while you're there.

stupid rotten worthless POS drunks.. and people wonder why I have a special hatred for them; it should be very obvious. I wonder if they were rodeo drunks because it seemed almost everyone at the rodeo was drunk. Some were staggering barely able to walk drunk. I just don't get why people do it, but then again my IQ is over 10...

edit- just watched a KSAT video online and they mentioned a benefit was held yesterday at the Cadillac bar to pay for funeral expenses. I realise funerals are expensive and they said the girl didn't have any money, but isn't there a better place to do this than a bar?
