I'd probably still go to Wallyworld, just 'cuz. I do like that HEB Plus y'all have over there--I love the garden section! But Wallyworld gets some of my grocery business, actually the majority of it these days. Glad I got the recipe after you started drinkin'! Otherwise you'd have told me to get bent! Thanks, though--I'll have to try it--we finally bought a chiminea last weekend, so we are almost ready for a backyard event. (I bought that at a pottery place on Eckhert Road, not Wallyworld, so rest easy!)

There is a really cool Mexican pottery place on Eckhert Road, in case anyone is interested. She's a little more expensive than the Mexico Lindo place on 1604 and Braun, but she's a super-sweet lady and I like buying from her. She's right there on the bend of Eckhert--there's a bar there named Around the Bend or something like that. Anyway, she's a sweetie, so go see her!

Awwww, can I still wear my Darth Vader mask over there? I love the sound it makes when I breathe.

I don't mind spending money on good stuff, but so far I've only heard it's OK or not bad.. that's more of a $10 meal place review..
I felt the same way about the new Wild Fish Grill on 1604 and Huebner. Went there Thursday with my wife. We both agreed the food was okay, but at almost $30 for the dish, it needed to be more than okay. I don't mind spending the money, but serve me up something better than I can make at home.

so far I've found three über satisfying places to eat and only one of them was an actual restaurant.. Salt Grass had a really good steak and I left there not even remembering the prices. The other two were Philly Connection and Freddy's Frozen Custard. Pretty sad when (sorta) fast food tops the list.. I also like Chacho's and what you get for the money is an outstanding deal.
