sorry, I probably read a little too much into your post

and that is a big pet peeve of mine, mostly because I'm the one behind them that ends up with a big truck on my butt..

The truck driver had to seriously lock up the brakes to miss them, but could've easily just said "oh well" and the car would've been nearly vaporized.
That happened to us on 1604 just about an hour ago - several cars in front of us slowed down getting ONTO the highway, causing me and several other cars to brake hard to avoid the @$^%& semi doing 80 in the right lane.

I'm glad you really like your dog mister - but if you're going to force him to ride in the back of your little S10 and then insist on doing 25-30 getting onto the highway, then someone is going to get into a wreck. Put your dog in the cab with you (#1) so you can drive normally, and (#2) so he doesn't fall out of the back and get killed and/or cause a freaking pile up.

And I just LOVE the idjits that "barrel up your rear" and then honk and get all frantic to no end, as if you were the only car on the road and it's your fault the 800 vehicles in front of you are only doing 50. What the hay do you want?!? Next time I'll wriggle my nose and make all the slow cars ahead of us disappear, so we can share the wide open road together. Apparently it's all my fault that you can't speed, so I, not the other vehicles deserve all your hate. /rant.

Well, summer is here, and the reason I know this is because:

1) it's a .7 mile walk around the outer block where I live.

2) I have to drag each of my two dogs .4 miles around the outer block
where I live because they are worn completely out after .3 miles.

3) during non-summer months, they make it approximately .6 miles before I have
to start dragging them.

My pet peeve is people that slow down to a crawl or stop when merging because they are waiting for the FAR lane to open up - instead of making their way over once they have merged. Drives me nuts!!!!

My husband always honks at these people but I never have the nerve - I just seethe silently and count to ten.......

ha ha, are those real? I would so love to blast people with them, especially if I can see them jump through their roofs..

and Texas needs to get with the times on dogs in the back of trucks. It should be completely illegal and people that torture them like that should be shot. What's the minimum IQ for common sense? and yes, the dog might enjoy it, but it's because he's a dog and isn't smart. just like the owners...

Aw geez. Most of the vids I've seen are about the same, installing massive air horns and then driving around and scaring people. But those would be perfect for the traffic here!
