Well, being that I'm a "kept" woman, I really don't give much consideration to how much things cost, unless the price of manicures, pedicures, massages, trips to the hair salon, facials and the like go up.

Actually, since both my SO and I work and he receives his military pension on top of it, we really haven't changed the way we live...not that it's extravagant to begin with. We live in a modest dwelling and definitely don't wear designer crap, but we do like to have fun. That's where we spend our "mad" money.

I have 27 minutes left of Andromeda Strain, though playing with kittens and consoling our 4 year old with 4 shots may make me a little late to the party. lol

Ramen is not so bad...and I think we can live on it for awhile...the kiddos really like it, so why not! You can jazz it up a bit by adding some frozen vegetables and meat. I do a partial boil on mine once in awhile and then throw it in a wok with some soy sauce and make some really inexpensive chow mein. I did participate in Angel Food Ministries food order last month and will be doing so again this month...especially since they shorted my order for the grill pack since it did not ship. Two days in a row I went to THE grocery store and spent $45 EACH day! And that was for buying essentials. It is scary out there and continues to get not much better. Especially when things are rising quicker then incomes. We have passes for the zoo, Witte and SeaWorld, we just have to factor in the cost of fuel to get there and back. My CPS bill is still not online yet, but probably will have my stroke later. I do have the builder installed radiant barrier but have no comparison for prior years since we just moved here in December. It sucks for all of us, but fortunately we can commiserate together...

If you'd like the bed or you think you have a family member or a friend from church who could use the bed, please let me know.
I think we have a taker - wow - that was quicker than two cheating spouses meeting up on Craig's List personals... or so I've heard.
