Given that I cannot open the windows today, I am firing up the charcoal and grilling me some ribs. The grill sits on the back porch, so no windows allowed open on that side of the house. lol I have no spam in my pantry but I hear Jules and Sapphire are bringing me some to the M&G.

Looks like Txtrkgirl is servin' up some flying saucers. Good vittles!

You just slice/cube/shred make into slivers--the Spam, grate some cheese, toss it together, place it on a bun, put it on a cookie sheet and pop them in the oven, or broil them for a few. Remove and enjoy. I imagine they are good with a beer, but the last time I ate one I was like 10, and I could only have communion wine.

Summers in S. Texas generally suck because of the humidity, but put me near a body of water and an ice cold brew and I'm good to go.

LOL. I'm cooking dinner and taking it to my mom since my dog is a brat and won't let us eat in peace. Right now I have the lemon cheesecake cooking. I need to start on the greens soon and the buiscuts. I'm going to fry chicken breast and make mashed potatos and corn. We normally don't eat like this but I'm in a cooking mood. A fattening cooking mood.

I hear ya!!! That is why we practically live on the water during the summer. Take the boat to the cliffs, anchor out, tie about 5 boats together, jump in the lake and sit on a life jacket, cold brew in one hand and just float around.
Anyone heard the song "Redneck Yachtclub"
