Default Mail?? does certified mail get forwarded?

Do any of you happen to know, if someone sent me certified mail to my old address will it get forwarded to my new address? Or does it go back to them? I can't find the answer on the USPS site.

My definition of a "super high road" is those roads that are stacked on top of each other so they are 2-4 times higher than most highways. I have a fear of heights and just driving by these gives me sweaty palms! I flew into Houston last year and asked the agent at the National Rental Car desk for a route that would avoid them. It took me 45 minutes longer but I didn't mind.

I think they only forward for 6 months unless you put in an extension request.
