We just got back from our gangsta-dinner at Olive Garden by Ingram Mall. I sincerely hope the one at Culebra and 1604 is a little better, but given this day and age, I doubt it.

Yes, it's Father's Day and they were busy. That's cool--we realized going in that there would be a wait--and we only waited 30 minutes--for the table.

Service was awful--the waitress, when she did show up, was so loud she hurt my ears. I ran out of tea, not once, but twice. The people at the table beside us sat down approx 2 minutes after we did--we were done with our entrees and had ordered dessert by the time they got their food. However, the table behind us, with the little banger wannabe, his baby mamma, and said baby, got the royal F'n treatment. They must have been at the lucky table--food and drinks were flowing and every waiter in the place stopped to check on them. The banger made no secret of the fact that free food was delicious, and free drinks were even better. I just wanted to knock that sideways cap off him and take his a$$ down. The drunker he got the more obnoxious he became, and I seriously didn't need to see his tongue halfway down baby mamma's throat while I was eating, or at any other time.

The people next to us--family of 4 with a young airman--asked for the manager finally because it was getting ridiculous. They got free dessert.

I seriously want to e-mail them, but nobody probably gives a crap. It just irked me that he got such great service AND free food and drinks. Both of our tables would have settled for semi-decent service.

Sorry if any of you have kids that work there--I'm sure they are not all bad, but it was pretty disgusting today. Foul mouths and lousy service.

Well, we don't go that often, but we've never had a complaint about their food--I think for a chain it's pretty good. I like it better than Carino's, that's for sure. It was just the whole situation with the dude with the free food. He got all the attention and the poor family next to us was virtually ignored. It just wasn't right. And the guy was such a filthy-mouthed punk. Grrrrr!!!!!!!!! Not that big a deal, it was one meal out of thousands, but still....
