I don't see a sticky for NEW members. Just wanted to say I've been lurking in this this forum for some time now and decided to join today. I moved to San Antonio in 2006 and y'all have provided lots of great information that I've used. Just wanted to say hi and thank you.

You JUST missed a San Antonio CDF get together. Lots of us meet up in a local restaurant/hangout/park/fun-place-of-some-sort, share a meal and get acquainted. We ALWAYS have lots of fun and we meet the NICEST people...

So, keep your eyes and ears open for the next one.... we seem to do them more and more frequently as time goes on.....

Welcome Birdz! I did a lot of lurking too before I moved to SA in October 2007. Best darn move I ever made! The M&Gs are tons o fun! It was great that quite a few folks brought their kids (and grandkids ) and we could all have some adult conversation. Well, once my DQ let it all out about how unhappy she was about one little boy. LOL I have not done a M&G in many moons...the last one I did was a dating site...but that was back in the 80s...I will still say as loud and as often as I can...that I truly have met the best friends online...and its even better when we can get together to actually meet in real life, share some food and drink...and I of course <333 hugs. Well, from the lovely ladies on the board at least. OK...getting off my soapbox now. Can you tell I just had lunch and have a lot of energy! I better save some for when the kittens come out.
