She says "sanx!" (blush!) Lots of people don't believe her that it's a real tat, since it's so colorful. She has a few others, and like mother like daughter ~ she has a long list of new ones she wants!

yea gwrober ~ we'll let ya know if/when we take the plunge for more. Make an even of it!! LOL!

One of the two got hers done by this guy: D's Body Ink - Tattoos and Body Piercing - San Antoino, Texas and I think I'm going to go there too. They do good work and are very straight.

I would love to have a blue marlin tatoo on the back of my neck, and a blue butterfly (in memory of my mom) done on my shoulder blade. I am just too chicken to have it done. I just don't know if I can sit through the pain. I went with a few friends to a tatoo convention up in Austin, but we got there too late for me to get anything done. I said well, too bad. Well, my friend talked me to getting my tongue pierced (and had several drinks to try and ease my nerves). That did not hurt, but I took it out after a year.

I'm surprised my mother in law didn't kill me after I brought her oldest daughter home with a tattoo.

Mind you, we've been married for a few years now..but my wife was worried about it! I have a ton I'd like to get, and it's very addicting!

Definitely addicting.. my wife and daughter each have five I think. They haven't got anything new lately, but me talking about it will probably get them going again. I'm looking for something on my upper arm that peeks out a little at the bottom of a short sleeve shirt. I'm not interested in color because I want it to be sorta big and definitely nothing below the elbow because I like working in a white collar environment

BTW, I would think a tongue piercing would hurt WAY more than a tattoo. Plus the tattoo is all about location. The side of the body around the ribs, kidney, outer stomach seems to be the worst area. There was a guy getting a huge one done there and he was nearly in tears. The guy at the link I posted above was also very fast and that helps a lot. When I got my first one it seemed like it took at least 20 hours, even though it wasn't anywhere near that long. I'd much rather get it done quick, but still with great quality and that guy had great quality. He whipped up a sketch of my coworker's sons name in just a few seconds and it looked great. The guy definitely has talent.

Spring break is comin' right up.

I wish I was 18 and headed to Cabo or someplace, but I'm a quarter century wiser than that, and we're going to West Texas. I guess that beats getting sand in my cracks and puking in some random hotel room.

Nah........who am I trying to kid?
