haha....not meaning to pry.......

We lived in the Seattle area before moving here so I was just wondering what "sights" you might take in.......

I was going to suggest going up to the San Juan Islands (that's where we lived, actually) if you want a real getaway.......

Oh, I was joking...hubby will be disappointed if he reads that!

I think we are going to do the normal touristy things...space needle, Pike Place market, etc. My husband was born and adopted in Tacoma, so we are going to visit there, though I've heard it's a dump. I guess you can't judge until you get there. Ohhh...that's right...my husband is going for a conference too. HAHA, how you forget the "important" things you are going for!

we'll be there for a couple days before the ship departs and were wondering what places would be best to hit and we won't have a rental car. I know we're going to that market place and the Needle of course.
I'll be easy to spot because I'll be that guy walking around going "ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, feels SO good"

Well...if you're up to a bit of a drive and would like to see some great views - head off to Anacortes (about 1.5 hours north). It's the gateway to the San Juans. We used to live in Anacortes and it's really beautiful. You should drive across Deception Pass to Whidbey Island.....if you're up that way....

Here's a pic of the bridge at Deception Pass....
