Uh oh, looks like Starbucks will have to raise prices on their already over-priced drinks. Well, of course they are appealing, but still, it doesn't look good for them.

OK, I had to put out an APB on Paka earlier today--now what about Jules? Or is she posting in the Austin forum now? Maybe she is still rockin' out up there.

I am betting she is out having fun with the kiddos since it is spring break...whadda you think????

Watch for her to be back Monday or Tues after recovery mode! She and DH are so totally involved with their kiddos (FANTASTIC PARENTS) , I'll BET on that one!

Oh, now I feel like a bad mommy. I've been posting and my son is on spring break.

Well, his buddies are here and they are playing X-box live on the 60 inch tv, and as long as I shovel food their way every now and again, it's all good.

Hey, at least we're in the same house. And we did have a road trip at the front end of spring break, does that count?

Default she lives (barely!)

Heh, well Paka, you are far too nice! I only wish I had been busy doing all kinds of fun things with the kids this week. Instead, I was struck by the flu!! ugh! 5 days in bed (with 2 stupid, failed attempts to go to work), just today feeling up to even looking at the computer. Still feel like I'm gonna cough up a lung. This is the pits!

SxSW, however, was awesome!! It was SOOOOOOOOO cool to see my favorite band of all time play and they rocked as hard as they did the last time I saw them (which sadly was 25 years ago)! And again this time, I got to hold (errrr...shake?) the guitarist's hand after the show. swoon!! Then even bumped into him on 6th St and he smiled at me! Double swoon and week knees!! And we did have fish tacos from Wahoo's on Saturday and Sunday. Delish!!

So, a great weekend ~ followed by a miserable week. Joy. (Of course I did tell the kids I'd make it up to them for a lousy spring break week.)

Anyway, looks like you guys have all been up to some mischief without me! (I LOVE the "smilies" sapphire!!!)

Yay Jules is back...sorry to hear you're not feeling well....if it's any consolation, I put off going fishing, and finally went today, and got NOTHING. So I'm not feeling so well either. Well, I know it's nowhere near the same thing, I just wanted to complain.

This funk thing going around sucks big time. I am over the stuffy head/sneezing/slight cough thing, but I can't stay awake to save my life. I think I've been awake maybe 6 hours all day today and somehow have to stay up late to not screw up my schedule. I definitely can't lay on the couch anymore. that's like taking a sleeping pill

Did anyone see August Rush? We watched it last night, and I really liked it. The story was a little bit of a stretch, but if you are into feel-good movies, this one is worth watching! The kid is so good.....and the Irish singer is not so bad, either, if ya know what I mean, ladies.
