I saw the signs out on the fireworks stand this morning. "Opening to the public June 24th". Get ready for Moron-athon 2008.

That sux!! How can I water down 200 acres . It's very scary with the ground as dry as it is.

We can only wish that people will use their smarts.

I always wish people would use their brains for something actually intelligent, but am disappointed about 99% of the time..
all I know is no cop better bother me while I'm watering the hell out of my grass on the 3rd and 4th. I did hear the police making idle threats on the radio though. They always say they're going to enforce the laws and nothing ever happens. Most of them are probably taking the day off anyhow.. lighting fireworks..

anybody tried ZiegenBock amber beer? It's from Anheuser-Busch. My daughter just picked me up a case from the monthly SeaWorld distro, so hopefully it's not totally awful.. it's supposedly made for Texas and only sold here.

Ziegenbock is made in Houston. Like you said, it's amber, so I think it might be good, probably full bodied in flavor. Does seaworld still give beer samples? I always thought it was rather nice of them to have that beer school there where visitors could get a nice respite from the heat and enjoy a cool brew or two. Sweet.
