Personally, I think this instructor is a bit flaky, but, it's a cake course, so I'll tolerate her.

Nah, you're cool.  I'm also far from a beacon of perfect grammar.. it's an online forum, not a business.
My pet peeve are the posts that have continuous runons to the point that it becomes difficult to follow. If I have to read and reread a post several times until I finally somewhat understand what was said. |

Here's a pet peeve I forgot.... narrowminded people (nothing to do with politics -- but in general)! That is, people who see things only one way and cannot admit that they are wrong.
