I just finished school clothes shopping for all 4 of my girls. I took each of them out one at a time. They had their personal shopping time and did not have to worry about another sister copying them. I just need to get a couple of them new tennis shoes and that's it. I wanted to get a head start since I have to buy for so many.

For me, it doesn't pay enough to wait for the tax free shopping days. You pretty much have to pick your one store to shop at, and fight the crowds. If you try and make it to another store, for get it, it's all picked over by then. That's the way it's been for me in the past anyway.

This Monday, I will tackle the school supplies. One at a time.....

I was "Meanest Mom in the World." Worked out okay though. My daughters thanked me for being so mean -- after they were grown, of course!

no back to school anything for me and my kids buy their own clothes. one of the perks of being old I guess..
DK is breaking all sorts of records and one of them is online sales. That's the only way to go as far as I'm concerned. It costs an extra $1, but not standing in line and having a guaranteed ticket is worth it.

Getting old does have its privileges! And I agree about the movie tickets.
