I just remember the wires tearing up my fingers really bad. The new plates and flat switches are really nice, though, and they're kinda graphite looking, so it blends in well with the slate backsplash.

RD did you have a good pair of lineman pliers and needle nose pliers? If you were twisting 12 gauge wire with your fingers I'm sure they would be sore.
Just curious if you had experience doing this? Trying to be helpful but only read last few posts.

I had some tools, but around here they disappear faster than I can buy them. Highly annoying, but it's the norm.

Just got back from Office Depot, bought two desks for $99 each. One is broken, so I have to take the entire thing back for an exchange. BUT, of course, they don't have any more at the location I bought them from, so I have to drive the opposite direction to another store and exchange it.

speaking of desks, I have to make another craigslist ad. The people that were interested both blew me off.

I'd have blown this idiot off and raced out of there, let him follow me to the animal hospital and then write whatever he felt the need to write.....
nasty SOB.... AND, he says to them 'Chill out, its just a dog, you can get another one' ?????
He'd still be writhing on the ground clutching his pain-filled b***s.......
I'd probably also still be in a jail cell of course, but my puppy/companion/beloved pet might still be alive...
What a P***k!!!

Baltimore Baby Visit
So, if I've posted this already, please forgive.... I swear I have premature Alzheimers'....
I flew to Baltimore FINALLY and FINALLY met my most gorgeous, bright, happy, joy-filled, scrumptious grandnephew, Jacob ....
he is PERFECT!!! He is sweet and wonderful and bright and interested and learning fast/growing fast and he is the King of my Heart!!!!!
I danced all around the house with him, foxtrot, waltz, jitterbug, and he loved the 'boogie-woogie' best of all... Giggled out loud every time we did the boogie-woogie....
LOLOL... what a sheer utter delight!!!!!!!!!!!!!
