Not trying to change the subject in the off topic thread but I just read that the Duggars had their 18th kid. I hope she got the day off before they start trying for #19. Wow. Good for them but not the path I would choose.

Wow. That's a lot of kids. I have trouble with names for 2--I call the oldest one by the younger's name, and vice versa. With 18 of them I guess it would just be "Hey, you!" Not the path I would choose, either! Even if I had millions of dollars....

I can barely keep track of 1 kid let alone 18!!! I hear those kids are freakishly well behaved though. I agree lucky, not my path, but good for them!

Well, my school was huge, and I didn't see much of him in senior year, but we shared an American Lit. class in our junior year.........he sat in the next row over, back one seat. My neck hurt all year--I can't even tell you what the teacher looked like, because all of us girls were always lookin' back.

He was so nice and everyone knew he was going to be famous one day--just an extremely nice, very good-looking, well-spoken young man.

I actually know quite a few families with kids in the double digits. You'd honestly be amazed at how happy and well behaved the majority of them are. They're just nice kids, nice families. Our best "family friends" from back in Huntington Beach have 12 kids. 12 of the absolute NICEST kids/adults you'd ever want to meet and be honored to be friends with. We miss them a lot.

Having said that, 7 is MY limit!!

That's awesome, Jules! I don't know many people with more than 2 or 3. We did know a family at church that have 9 kids, but only 3 left at home. Great kids! And very tight-knit.
