Yeah, I'm a bad mommy--but, he usually walked home with other kids--it's a half-mile from school to the porch--and he called the second he hit the door--plus, it wasn't very often. Wow, I sound like I'm 'splainin' myself.
Everything's fine, and we just got him a cell phone. Although for middle school, I'll be able to pick him up since they get out later.

We had a
horrible run in with the middle school bus driver early in the school year, so I ended up taking my 2 to and from MS every freakin' day!
NO WAY I was gonna let them on the bus with that violent man again! Anyway, that's one of my concerns as well, if they end up with that jerk for a bus driver again. (New school, but could be the same driver.) Elementary bus stop is right in front of our house, but we have a ........ ummmmmm... "shady" new neighbor, so I don't want them coming home to an empty house. Uggggghhhh!!! So much to think about!!!! Otherhalf said, "well, other people do it......", but I seriously can't figure out how to juggle it.

Considering that I started this gig way back in ..... oh...... 1989........ Almost 20 years now..... (With a brief almost 1 year at a real job and a brief stab at RE.)
NO WAY I was gonna let them on the bus with that violent man again! Anyway, that's one of my concerns as well, if they end up with that jerk for a bus driver again. (New school, but could be the same driver.) Elementary bus stop is right in front of our house, but we have a ........ ummmmmm... "shady" new neighbor, so I don't want them coming home to an empty house. Uggggghhhh!!! So much to think about!!!! Otherhalf said, "well, other people do it......", but I seriously can't figure out how to juggle it.
