Happy Sunday! Had a blast in Harper and some darn good Q. Anyhow I did not want to start a new thread yet but we had talked about doing the next M&G as a potluck at a member's place. I would like to throw my hat in the ring to host that. We have a big backyard and a nice playscape for the kids to play on. I can do some chicken, hot dogs and burgers and make up some appetizers. our July is pretty booked up but perhaps we can do an early August Saturday or Sunday. Any thoughts? Worthy of a new thread?

Sometimes I feel like Mrs DAVE BARRY........here is the conversation that happened in my house 45 minutes ago.....
Hubby, who is packing at the LAST minute as usual:
Honey, were ARE my socks????
Honey, I washed them and put them in your drawer.
No Honey, they are not in here...I have LOTS of socks and there are only 7 pair in here...
Honey, I don't know what to tell you, I washed everything in the hamper and put them up.
HONEY, I DON'T HAVE CLEAN SOCKS!!! THE MAID MUST HAVE PUT THEM IN ONE OF THE OTHER BEDROOMS...I NEED CLEAN SOCKS!!!! (I at this point am thinking to myself, you are only gone for 5 days, what is wrong with 7 pairs of CLEAN socks!!!)
HONEY, the maid did not come this week, I did the wash and I put them all up after I washed.
(at this point there is PANIC in his voice, so I proceed upstairs to see what is going on)
Honey, just stop at Walmart and get some more socks on your way...not an issue...easy fix, not the end of the world, can do easy, no need to work your way thru 5 different bedrooms looking for socks........(that I did NOT put in some other bedroom dresser just to confuse and upset you!!!)
ok...ok, he mumbles as he say something under his breath that I can not hear but am sure is directed at me about loosing his socks......ok.......
He pulls out his suitcase from the closet and SURPRISE.....7 PAIRS OF DIRTY SOCKS FROM THE LAST TRIP!!!!! Gotta love him!
