We will be moving into Alamo Ranch in June and I have begun my search for a new preschool for my 3.5 yr old daughter. I am mainly finding places that are more like daycares with hours 6:30am - 6:30pm, or 5 days a week full day programs.

I am looking for:
- a program that is 2 or 3 days a week (9am-ish to 2pm-ish)
- a pre-K program
- prefer christian based, where they actually incorporate biblical topics/teachings
- not more than a 15 minute drive

I have searched and searched!
Thanks in advance!

mojo,

Can you hook me up too? My older daughter will be needing some kind of "distraction" once the school year is over (she's in preschool now).

Thanks!

Harvest preschool is at 1604 and 281 (I have no idea if that is a decent drive for you or not). But...they are everything you are asking for in a preschool. Plus, if you are so inclined, you kids can attend through 12th grade.

My son has been very happy there and every mom I talk to loves it as well.

There is a Mother's Day Out program at Westover Hills Assembly of God church. It's located between 151 and Culebra. Their program is a couple of days a week from 9-2.

Thanks for the tip mmac12 but it would probably take me 45min- 1hour to get to Stone Oak at that time of day! I think the biggest problem I am having is that I am moving to such a "new growth" area and preschools haven't followed as much yet.

Has anyone heard anything or have experience with the following?:
-Zion Lutheran (Kids of the Kingdom school)
-Westover Hills Assembly of God MDO program
-Northminster Early Learning Center
-The Mustard Seed
-Crossroads Baptist Church MDO program

These are the centers I've found that are within a reasonable drive time and have a few days a week type of program.

I have heard that the Mustard Seed is an excellent place. Was highly recommended to me from a daycare inspector.
