Cost of Utilitiles - NW outside Loop 410 (apartment, house)

We're moving into Oak Crest subdivision (just off Tezel, 78250). Our house is 2200 sq ft, no gas. Any ideas of the monthly cost of electric/water?

I've been paying about $175/month in New Orleans for a 1000 sq ft apartment.

I suppose it will depend on how old your A/C unit is and at what temp you like to keep your house, but I would think $200-$250 should be about average in the summer.

We live in the same zip code in a little bit smaller house, and our electric runs about $180--$260 in the summer, $70--$90 the other 2 months.

Our water bill is usually about $60, no change in the summer. We may water more this year--we had so much rain last year that we didn't need to, so the bill will probably be higher this summer.

A lot of variables mainly to do with the age of the house and cooling system.
