With all the griping about traffic here, I wanted to talk about a good thing that happened to me

I was coming south on Ellison, after dropping off my kid at Stevens. Coming up to the light at Potranco, I turned on my blinker because I turn right onto Potranco. The dark SUV in front of me (in the right lane) must have seen it and GOT INTO THE MIDDLE LANE to go straight !!!!!! I was free to turn right on red instead of sitting behind him/her, waiting for it to turn green again. I and at least 3 cars behind me.

(That one gets to me every morning, because Ellison turns into a one-lane on the other side anyway, and there are always a gazillion ppl wanting to turn right onto Potranco stuck behind the one guy going straight in the right lane.)

So, THANK YOU for being kind and considerate!

Thank you, too, for noticing a good deed and responding in kind. So few of either these days!

It's truly great to hear about people placing others ahead of themselves. This serves as a reminder to myself, and hopefully whoever reads this, to do the same. If we adopt this mentality (and I know there are plenty of people on this board who have), it can only yield positive results.

It would be nice if more people would stay out of the right lanes of intersections that are well known for having a large number of people turning right at them. A few that come to mind are all on Potranco: @151, @whatever that road is where the post office is located and @Military. These are all on eastbound Potranco.
