This in an intersection that I predict will become a major accident magnet. Before the widening of Borfeld, there was a turn to get onto Borgfeld that had a small turn lane.

Now you go to turn directly on to Borgeld, it would seem (Google maps isn't clear on naming as compared to the real road signs).

However, you just turn at a 90 degree turn without a turn lane from a major high speed highway. You have to slow down and that is a great accident generator. I saw a major one yesterday with cars and pickups smashed and distributed into the drainage ditches.

Similarly, to get back to Blanco, you have to watch two directions of higher speed traffic. Given the increased traffic with all the development on Borgfeld, this intersection is flat out stupid and probably needs a light.

As a side issue, the pace of finishing Borgfeld is the usual Bexar county glacial pace. Just finish it already.

Two major accidents at this same intersection this week. This needs to be fixed. Hoping someone reading can do something about this. There needs to be a light.
