ABSOLUTELY!! I realized that as I was waking up this morning. Didn't want to take anybody away from your event gy2020. So, if anyone can only make it to one event, please make it to gy's party on the 18th!!

And I also realized that when I said "adults only", I didn't mean to alienate any of our younger forum members (or 6'6" very near future Marines! ). Just mean no children ~ let's get babysitters. (Also, I don't know if The Stockyards is 21 and up???? Anybody?)

An open air restaurant would be fabulous, but I can't think of anything around on this side of town (not to leave out anybody on other sides of town, but it's mainly been us "Far West-ers" that are talking about getting together, and who have previously attended them). Something like La Tuna would be great.

SOOOOO.... let's plan for the 12th, early evening until the cows come home. Now, where???

Oh no, I jis meant that a place that's like La Tuna would be great. Still thinkin The Stockyards, unless anybody has a better idea. I'll check with them on age requirements, opening times, if the restaurant will be open by then, etc. Anything else anyone can think of that I should ask them??????

I think you have covered all the bases...if it is 21 and over, he will not go...but who knows, I was asking without checking with his schedule anyway...he might have plans....as always!

Stockyards would be really good for me in case DH gets home from work late, he can just pop on over once he gets out!

Cool. I'll give them a call this afternoon. I HOPE it's not 21+, cause it would be fun to see your son before he leaves! (And also would be nice for our younger forum members to be able to come.)

Now I'm off to scenic Poteet again. Joy! Son-in-law is converting an outbuilding to a "man cave", so of course otherhalf is happily helping. And my little girls are thrilled to be able to go play with the nieces.

What about Tiagos, Rudy's, that Longhorns place on Potranco (anyone been there?), the Radisson has their outdoor area which is nice (smores!) - of course we could always meet at Rudy's since it's next door, and then head over to Stockyards....

Also, Westcreek is having their Luau on the 12th, but it's during the day, so it shouldn't be a problem. We'll just show up with tans.

Also, Paula brought up that we can sponsor a party here in Westcreek and use all of their facilities - they have a softball field, soccer field, volleyball court, basketball and tennis courts, playground, picnic tables with little grills, and a pavilion with a much larger grill. It's too short notice to use for Jules' date, but it's something to keep in mind for the future....
