I was over there (LeBlanc [?]) on Sunday. Definitely not my scene, but it was kind of fun. Weird raised dance floor in the middle of the room. It was after a fashion show, though, so maybe that was the reason. When I got out to strut my stuff, I felt on display. A couple of drinks always help with that, though.

What time is it open till? And do they serve after 2am? We must've left at about that time.

Barfly is across the parking lot too, so its fun to start your night there then head over. The place gets packed after 2:30am.

Isn't Bogey's on 410/Callaghan...or used to be? Sounds like LeBlanc and Barfly are places we'd like to patronize. I'm putting them both on my agenda! Thanks!

FWIW - I love Casbeers. All kinds of different music shows, and the space is so small that everyone just pushes their tables together and talks to the person next to you and you get to know folks you'd never meet otherwise. It's the kind of place that says "Texas" to me. Great vibe.

I agree Celeste, Casbeers is a great place. I like to go on Wednesday nights sometimes. I can have great night of music and still get home early enough to make it in to work easily on Thursday morning.

Sunday was a fashion show by Elmo, so they have their own little crowd. I heard most people were standing around with their martinis and not dancing...I'm not surprised.

The place is open till 6AM on Saturdays, which is the only afterhours night. They've been inviting some great talent lately so its definitely been a fun time.

How about it?

Stone Oak area on Thursday nights. Paesanos, Houlihans....
