Game day tomorrow night in Arizona and the spurs play the same time. Hate it when that happens

When San Antonio has a home game the attendance numbers make large gains due to our crowd size. Let’s see what this week brings now that they are playing away again.

It doesn't look that promising from week 1 to week 5 though. Article is just focused on the increase from week 4 to week 5.

Will they blame bad weather if the attendance drops on week 6?

Well last weekend they had snow in SLC and severe weather in Birmingham.

When San Antonio plays at home the attendance is boosted as the Commanders home crowed is double and triple the other teams. That said, the league will need to gain traction in other markets to be successful.

That's obvious, and it's not happening (season is almost half way over). There are a lot of comp tickets being given out as well. Yes, they are paid for by corps, but would these people that are going really pay for a ticket?
Think "one and done" folks.

San Antonio in particular seems to be among the strongest . I agree that all cities need to be successful to keep the entire league from folding.

Nah.

The TV ratings are solid and they are in talks to use the AAF as a farm system for the NFL.

Isn't the NFL strongly supported by corporations also? Think all those fancy boxes with endless buffets and alcohol.
