i am looking to buy a home in the range of $275,000-$325,000, would like to have one acre of land at the least, 3 bedrooms or more. i dont have children yet which makes schools not to important right now. i will be working in the city of san antonio, i wouldnt mind it much if i had to drive 45 minutes at most.
now that you know what im looking for , which area would suit me best, bulverde, schertz, beorne, cibolo or la vernia? if there is a area i havent mentioned that you think is a good area, dont hesitate to mention it!

i would like a low crime area, somewhere i dont have to drive more than 15 minutes to go out to eat or go grocery shopping and in case something happens, a place that is not far from a hospitol.

would like to be away from a flood area as well.

I live between Seguin and New Bruanfels off Hwy 46. Our home was on 1 acre for 130,000. good schools in Navarro ISD in Geronimo. Fast growing. 7 miles from New Bruanfels, 6 miles from Seguin. 40 miles from San Antonio, 50 miles from Austin, 20 miles to San Marcos. Basically central location. 160 miles from Houston. Next door neighbors house is on 2 acres for 170,000. Neighbor across street builds new classic corvettes, and has private airport for his piper. We have horses, cows, goats, giene hens. Some neighbors homes are up to 300,000 to $1,000,000 +

My husband and I fell in love with the Timberwood Park area, I am not for sure how much land you can get with houses, but give it a look.

La Vernia goes to their own schools which is A LOT better than EC using testing scores!

La Vernia & Floresville have increasingly become popular for new homes sales. You can find a custom home with most of today's popular upgrades on an acre plus tract in the $200's.

H.E.B. built a new grocery store in Floresville which was most needed. If you happen to be in the area, be sure to drive downtown a catch a movie at the Arcadia Theater.
