Oh no sapphire!! I'm sorry, I didn't mean that!!! These are parents who know that their kids aren't going to get lunch... period! Ya know how when something is uber important, ya make time for it? It's kinda the same thing when the hit middle school and you know they won't eat if you don't send money. I have no doubt that you're not lame! It'll just be one more thing to add to your already busy schedule. Right now, the school let's your son "charge", so the zillion other things that are going on in your life take priority. There's that "safety net". It's different when they no longer can charge. I'm sure somehow you'll make sure that your son has an account full of money. You are definitely not the type of parent I was referring to. I'm sorry.

No, I do feel lame when I forget!! It sucks!! It's not like we don't have the money--I honestly just can't keep track of how much is in his dang account--if he gets an extra ANYTHING--I don't know and the money dwindles quicker than you can say free lunch. They need a system for the lame-o's that don't want to be lame!

Personally, I LOVE the computer calls I get from COMAL ISD that our daughter has a balance of $4.00. Not negative, but a positive $4.00. And OMG, I got that notification every day during Spring Break! YIKES! LOL

Forgive my ignorance, as my son is only 14 months old but, why can't one just throw $100 in the child's account (if that's how it works) every few months..then you don't have any of these worries.

Yeah, that's a good idea. But when the hundred runs out, we are back at square one. That's where I have the "lame-o" problem.

I'm still stuck here! American Airlines cancelling flights like crazy. Doesn't matter what class you fly when flight gets cancelled...everyone is screwed. Hopefully get home tomorrow. Next trip to San Francisco Tuesday night.
I did Italian this time. Zia's on the Hill. Anyone from St. Louis should know Zia's.

I'll wait til I get to Memphis in 2 weeks for the ribs...I like the Memphis style dry rub.
