My favorite San Antonio real estate search site has discontinued its "map search," that allowed me to pull up every house for sale in San Antonio on an interactive map. I loved the feature because it gave me a better sense of neighborhood names and locations. Does anyone know of another site that I could use?

Thanks!

Maybe you could try

Moderator cut: realtor site

I think they have a map feature.....

Or try the real estate section at:

San Antonio News, Weather, Sports : MySA.com | Express-News | KENS 5

Good luck!

Why not use the MLS?

Thanks. Moderator cut: realtor site had exactly what I was looking for.

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with how to use the the MLS, but any guidance is appreciated.

You can't access the MLS directly. It's available to Realtors only (for quite a hefty sum of money)

Moderator cut: realtor site doesn't have all the full MLS. Realtor.com doesn't have all the neighborhoods set up on the interactive map.

When I was house hunting, I used mysa.com. Once I figured out which neighborhoods I liked, I would just search by neighborhood. That's how I found the house I ended up buying!!!

I'd be very surprised if members of the public couldn't get into the public side of the MLS. I pay $1,100+ a year for access to the professional version here in VT, with things like showing instuctions, and all the data - but anybody can get into the public side which is a subset of information designed for browsing.

...in fact, here it is MySA.com: San Antonio real estate, new and resale home listings, MLS listings, and apartments l MySA.com Real Estate Online
