I lived at Mira Vista complex right above Fiesta. Used to run/job all around that area 2003. I can't imagine all the Shops/Stores that have been constructed. Almost sad to hear as the hills out that way were peaceful. I-10 corridor into SA is filled w/ strip malls - do we really need more at I-10/1604?

Yes, we need to accomodate all the peeps moving in from the northern states who need to have their big box stores in walking distance, although the use of hummers to pick up lattes are the "in" thing these days. It's gotta be just like it was back home!

I wonder if any of that would have been approved without the curbs now in place on development around Bullis.

Wanted to mention Saks "Off Fifth" is now open at the Rim, next to Nordstrom's "Rack" --- God help me if they build a Neiman's "Last Call" next door!

Self-control, self-control, self-control..........

I haven't been shoppertained in....forever!

I may have to go see what it's all about.

Actually I prefer indoor malls because I don't get wet when it's raining out. Oh wait......what's rain again?

Score one for the property owners! Camp Bullis, which has recently gotten almost anything it asked of the city, had been a proponent of several bills that failed to get a vote.

Some Bullis bills run into buzz saw

Four measures that would have meant doom to several residential and commercial projects within 5 miles of Camp Bullis bit the dust.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts

It looks like it will be replace the now-closed bank at the intersection. This is directly beside the new Staybridge Suites @ La Cantera. There is a Four Points under construction beside the Whataburger, and on the other side of Market Hill Blvd. is a Comfort Inn (which needs to be redone at least into a Comfort Suites!).

Rendering of Four Points - Galo Properties -
It looks like the planned aloft hotel has been scraped.

Haven at The Rim, the apartment under construction at The Rim, is looking nice. Presidio at the Landmark looks fairly urban:
