What towns around San Antonio do you guys think will grow and end up being like Schertz/Cibolo of today?

I can tell you which one it probably won't be, and that's Seguin. If it DOES happen despite city management's best efforts to the contrary, I hope I'm long gone beforehand.

Seguin is just too far away to be in the running.

Seguin has 7,899 housing plats approved and about 1000 lots for purchase. It is already a suburb and when 10 is three lanes it will only make it that much more accessible.

Castroville and unincorporated east Bexar County south of 10 seems to be where home builders are now moving.

like near Martinez? I never noticed growth on the south of i10 east. Schertz and Cibolo now have city limits on i10 and I feel like they will try to push growth on that side.

There are currently three neighborhoods being built that will total 2500 homes. Not as far south as Martinez, as they are all north of 1346. St. Hedwig is a huge issue for east Bexar County growth because they want none of it and they have put in strict lot size regulations. While it is their town and they have those rights, they have annexed so much land that it has really kept that area underdeveloped.

Well isn't St. Hedwig pretty far to be considered as the next big suburb of San Antonio? I know they don't want the growth but I feel that it will grow into St. Hedwig in a good while from now. Also, Can't Santa Clara be a big suburb since they have annexed land close to Cibolo?

I passed by Seguin and there were a lot of new houses north of i10 but the city really did surprise me. For it having over 30,000 it felt a city of 10,000.

Saint Hedwig is too far away but Seguin isn't? Isn't Seguin further away then Saint Hedwig?
