Default Rumors of a Walmart on Bulverde

Outside loop 1604. My pastors wife mentioned this to me when I told her we were considering building in Wortham Oaks. Does anyone have info on this? Also what is the commericial development going up on corner of Bulverde & Evans?
Thanks for any help.

Default Cvs?

One corner (SE) has a Walgreens, they are building a CVS on another corner (NE). Chase bank just opened on the NW corner. The only empty corner is the SW one...would that be big enough for a Wal-Mart? I really hope not!

You know, what is it with San Antonio anyway?
HEB
Walmart
Walgreens/CVS constant neighbors
Valero (well that's no mystery)
Target
the two office biggies

I mean, I really DO love living here for many reasons, but I can't tell you how many signs I've seen for stores going up a block away from another exact retailer!!!

It's definitely not just a San Antonio thing. The same thing happens all over.

If Wal-Mart goes there, it won't be long until they'll have a Supercenter at every other exit along 1604. Amazing.

I do like the Nacogdoches/1604 Supercenter better than the store at 281/1604.

HEB is by far the best place . When I have shopped at WM or Target my wallet takes a bigger hit than shopping at HEB. It is busy but but I get out faster at HEB than at WM or Target ..seems that most of the checkout lanes are never open and a sfar as customer service HEB wins

Some of you complaining don't really know how lucky you are to have these places conveniently where you live (down the block, around the corner, etc).

I live in the San Antonio College (SAC) area, and there is no CVS, SuperWalmart, Sam's, Costco, or SuperTarget around here anywhere.

Be thankful you have yours!
