Why is it that there's been not ONE single word about the rogue Constable (Pct 2) that seems to be writing her own rules/laws? Charges folks for security (cash only) at a county park when it's SUPPOSED to be provided free - tries to get an accident victim cavity searched w/o probable cause - has one of her own officers arrested on bogus charges because he'd announced he's running for her position???

This is something you expect more from some 3rd-world banana republic - not a major metro area in SA. I've seen y'all complain about this very precinct running speed traps and such - yet now not a word. Oh, yeah - she's also refusing to serve warrants (her primary job) because "they're too busy".

Looks like she also sexually harasses her deputies, allegedly.

Perhaps no one posted about it because topics like that can easily turn into a trainwreck on an online forum? (Hopefully not this one though.)

IMO, the root cause of this is voters caring too little about local elections, where these down-ballot offices are elected. We need to care far more about people like this constable, who operate in our own back yards than we do about who we send to Washington. But the lines at polling places and the voter turnout results indicate the opposite.

In Texas, all cops have the same license and the same powers. (with a few exceptions and nuances)

A rogue cop, especially an elected one, is not a good thing.

I AM a cop and I do not want rogue cops. So, I guess, I care.

This dumb ***** just helps give the perception that the majority of cops are power hungry people, unfortunately.

The ethical rules alone she violates daily are maddening.

Sadly I have little faith of her being voted out of office because people are so apathetic.

I forget the POS constable from the 90s out on the Southside. Seems like a saint now compared to her.
