Moderator cut: unnecessary If you guys almost had a heart attack watching the Spurs play the honeybees, i suggest, you dont even watch the Lakers game. Its going to go like this, the Lake Show will win the first 2 in L.A., then well give you one in S.A, game 4 were taking in in S.A, then game 5, well let you gys win one in l.a, then come back to the alamo and win game 6, then off to the championship baby!!!! Mark my words, Odem and Gasol are going to make Duncan dissapear!!!

In the two teams’ four regular season meetings they split 2-2, with the home team winning all of the matchups by an average of 13.3 points. However, the last of those four meetings occurred in the last week of the regular season with both teams vying for the best record in the West and was the only time the Lakers had Gasol in the fold. On that day, L.A. won by 21. [directly from nba.com]

Not taking anything away from L.A., but Ginobili was resting and Pop didn't give a rat's ass about the regular season standings.

Try again.

Another good job by Blue Dog--and I can't rep you again yet, but I will!!

See y'all in here tomorrow, when we're all scared and shakin' in our granny slippers, and make sure everyone takes all their Geritol tomorrow--we're gonna be up late whoopin' up on Kobe Bryant and the boys he lets have the ball.

Well if "pop" would have given a "rats ass" about regular season standings, then maybe the Spurs would have had homecourt advantage THROUGHOUT the playoffs and would have had a n eazier time getting to the wcf, instead of almost getting their butts handed to them by 2 subpar teams!!

I know. It kills me too because I wish the Spurs could have tested their true talent on legendary powerhouses like the Denver Nuggets.

Homecourt advantage is nice, but its not a necessity.
