agreed, some of them are dogs. but i happen to have a $20/year membership every year that i renew. i keep renewing it in the chance that one might come to san antonio or i move to a city that has them (like austin). it would save me the $37/mo that i'm now paying for gold's fiesta trails, which is a super gym in itself.
have you ever tried the 24 hr in hillcrest? it's pretty clean

is it "24 fitness" or "24 hour fitness"? i think that there might be a difference. for example, there are many 99 cents stores, but there are only a few "99 cents ONLY" stores.

i looked it up on yellowpages.com. that gym is "24/7" gym, not the same as ""24 hour fitness" gyms, which is a chain of gyms currently only found in austin, dallas & houston areas here in texas.

No...I either went to Grossmont, the one by the Q or at the mall in Mission Valley, closest to work or home. All of them were nasty! *gak* I finally terminated my membership and went to L.A. Fitness...much better.

There are no longer any 24/Fitness chains in SA as they were all bought up by Golds and turned over. It happened years ago.
I can recommend both Lifetime Fitness and Spectrum as two chains that have 24-hour locations, clean gyms and new equipment.
I'm just slobbering for a David Barton Gym to come to Texas. Rumor has it that Dallas will get it first, but I absolutely love their Chicago and NYC locations...

I was a member at Spectrum. I love that gym. However, Concord had more pampering, which I love even more!
