Please show us the shopping and how you drew your conclusion?
Ill go through the major ones for you!
La Cantera, The Rim, Northwoods, Hill Country Village, Forum, Village at the Forum, Gateway, North Park Plaza, Northstar, Quarry Market (has your whole foods 5 miles out of DT), Village at Quarry Market, Crossroads, A solid mass of shopping from Bandera to Culebra on 410 on both sides! Westover Marketplace, Alamo Ranch Market Place, The Boardwalk, Bandera Commons, Siverado Market place. Braun Point. SouthPark Mall, McCrelisis (SP) I could keep going!
As for the diversity their is more to life than white and Hispanic. Try going to the Bandera and Mainland Wal-Mart if you want 50% mix. Try going to the De Zavala area if you want all colors of people. The eastside around 410 has a healthy Asian population. Moderator cut: no personal attacks

How many vacant buildings to you see there Crossroads, South Park, Lone Oak Mall (formally McCreeless). The Forum is in Selma, not San Antonio (off topic) Hill Country Village (off topic) North Park Plaza (was that what central park mall is now?) The only vacant eyesores are the old albertsons stores but you have more of those eyesores than we do. SA is the only city where I seen 24 hour child care you do have that one down pat.

Moderator cut: no personal attacks That Walmart has people who shop there who don't live inside city limits. As far as the eastside around 410 I don't know where you are talking about but they make up a small percentage in San Antonio. But are you counting the city of Kirby, Universal City, and Converse in the mix if so, off topic.
