Isn't BexarMet under some kind of fraud investigation and SAWS is supposed to be eventually taking over?

I think Bexar Met successfully fought off the takeover attempt.

Have they checked your meter yet? What did they say? Is your subdivision the one off of Overlook PKWY?

They checked it and, despite it being shattered and having loose wires, they claim it's functional. Now they are suggesting the problem is on OUR end. We're having a sprinkler guy come and take a look again to rule that out.....

Bexarmet is also sending someone out to look around (called a home audit) but I don't really trust their motives. Probably looking for ways to pass the buck, and cost, on to us.....

We live between Potranco and Marbach.....

Do they have plans on fixing your meter? I would think loose wires would be some kind of hazard.

I was picking up one of my daughters yesterday and noticed a subdivision called Stonecreek. I had never really noticed it before until I read your post.

The saga continues with Bexarmet. Their home audit team came out last friday and confirmed what our lawn guy confirmed - the meter isn't working properly and we have no leaks on our end. Both checked the meter while water was running and it didn't budge. Strangely enough, the Supervisor I spoke with on the phone at Bexarmet says the meter is still reading water usage and she implied that maybe, because our water usage was so low this past year....it's just resetting itself to reflect our true usage overall!!!!

EXCUSE ME!!!! We are so careful with water usage but now, when we get a large bill, it's just the meter making up for undercutting us before!!!! I seriously think that they are counting on me being either a) uneducated or b) lazy and unwilling to follow-up or question their reasoning.

I'm so frustrated right now.....aaaarrrrgggghhh!
