My visit was great! Funny thing, though, I got homesick...for San Diego! I can't win...either I'm homesick for SA or SD. Sheesh!

Juneof48 refers to the infamous "June Insurrection" of 1848, in Paris, as immortalized in Marx's "The 18th Brumaire of Louis Bonaparte." It was a failed workers' uprising, and it always reminds me of the indomitable human drive for liberation, even when circumstances don't permit success.

(Yes, I'm on the left side of the spectrum, and I feel totally at home in San Antonio.)

Wow, I'm as far from the left as possible, but I must say, so far I think you win the Handle contest. I like how you put real thought into it.

songinthewind- I like the sound the wind makes. Sounds like a song. 7 is my lucky and numerological number.

For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a gangster.... J/k. Stock Broker. I remember seeing Wallstreet as a kid and even though they did seedy things in the movie, I liked the "hustle and bustle" so to speak. Here are a couple of clips on why I selected my handle. Please be patient, it's good.
