Once again, I'm a gem.
And the only jewelry I wear is made of sapphires, which happen to be my favorite! Well, there are some diamonds mixed in, but the largest stone is a sapphire. I picked the name a few years ago when I took my son to play Laser Quest, and it was the first thing that popped into my head, and my little boy was like, "That's cool, Mommy!" So it stuck. When you get your kid's approval, you run with it.

Do you stay logged in? That would be a doozy to have to remember that if you got logged out! Well, for an old chick like me. Never mind--carry on!

My user id is both my initials and where I was born.... not too hard to figure that one out. Well, if you know anything about our neighbor to the south, anyway.

(Yes, I'm on the left side of the spectrum, and I feel totally at home in San Antonio.)

Wow!
I'm a total lefty, but never would have guessed what your's meant. That's a lot of deep thought put into the name. I feel kinda boring - mine's my cat.

Not too much deep thought! I was in a band for a few years, and I kept trying to get the guys to change our name from something truly horrible to "The June Insurrection." So, it's been a potential label for me for a long time. It does a fairly good job expressing my general ethos!

My vehicle routinely employs a 5-liter American V8 to cart me around town from time to time. :-P

It's not just the Mayans that like 2012, it's the scientists too--they plan to "create" matter on 2012 known as the "God particle". That's also when Hillary runs for president again, mark my words. The end of the world?
Oh yea, my handle is pretty complicated. There's this state in the US called Texas (where I was born) and a label given to me at birth used to distinguish me from other male species is known as Nick. So, TexasNick. Make sense?
Sorry, late ...can't sleep.
PS> Sapphire, you're right, they are the coolest looking stones.

4= four members in my family (dh and two daughters)
2= conjunction-junction (for those of you who remember "School House Rock")
JetSet= my DH is a USAF pilot (who is also on mil leave from United) and we like to travel. We've been jetted all over because of him and because of him.
Around the house I mostly get called "Mom" and Holly ~:-}
